December 26, 2007 DALLAS, TX - Traveling
Coaches, the nationally recognized training, application integration and
consulting partner to law firms and corporate legal departments, today
announced that St. Louis-based Armstrong Teasdale has purchased Traveling
Coaches’ CLASS and CLASSe content for the Firm’s on-going technology
training program.
Traveling Coaches’ industry-leading CLASS (Continued Learning and Software
Skills) program is a collection of high quality, modular, and legal specific
technology training materials. Since its introduction four years ago, the
wildly popular CLASS program has been implemented by over 132 law firms and
corporate legal departments consisting of more than 58,000 users. As CLASS
provides the materials for traditional classroom instruction, CLASSe
facilitates a different style of training: just-in-time eLearning. A
collection of short, interactive, online lessons called CLASSe Briefs, this
program is ideal for busy attorneys and staff who need to learn how to
accomplish specific tasks “on the fly.”
“Before we purchased from Traveling Coaches, we researched content from
other providers. Our decision to choose Traveling Coaches was based in large
part on their broad array of legal-industry focus and knowledge, hard copy
and eLearning materials and their many years of training and technology
experience in the legal arena. In addition, Traveling Coaches has a solid
reputation for support and responsiveness to client needs. We will use the
new content to support our users throughout the country, which will reduce
our travel costs and response time. We anticipate using Traveling Coaches'
materials for software upgrades as well as new product introduction.” stated
Susan Bonnell, Director of Research, Training & Development for Armstrong
Teasdale.
CLASS currently consists of 154 classroom modules and CLASSe includes over
500 eLearning lessons. Both products cover topics from Microsoft Office
applications to document management systems and Word productivity tools. The
materials are customizable and designed to be used for university-style
training programs. CLASSe Briefs are drawn from CLASS curriculum and offer
the same high level of quality and consistency. By purchasing both products,
Armstrong Teasdale will be able to provide end-users with a consistent
training message through the instructor, reference materials and eLearning
lessons.
“We are thrilled to add Armstrong Teasdale as our newest CLASS and CLASSe
customer. The training team at this firm has a tremendous amount of talent,
and we are proud that they have selected CLASS and CLASSe as their
curriculum foundation.” added Charlene LeMaire, Director of Training and
User Support Services for Traveling Coaches.
