Sullivan & Worcester Implements Traveling Coaches CLASS and CLASSe
April 23, 2007 DALLAS, TX - Traveling Coaches, the nationally recognized training, application integration and consulting partner to law firms and corporate legal departments, today announced that Boston-based Sullivan & Worcester has implemented Traveling Coaches’ CLASS and CLASSe content for the Firm’s on-going technology training program.
Traveling Coaches’ industry-leading CLASS (Continued Learning and Software Skills) program is a collection of high quality, modular, and legal specific technology training materials. Since its introduction three years ago, the wildly popular CLASS program has been implemented by over 100 law firms and corporate legal departments consisting of more than 50,000 users. As CLASS provides the materials for traditional classroom instruction, CLASSe facilitates a different style of training: just-in-time eLearning. A collection of short, interactive, online lessons called CLASSe Briefs, this program is ideal for busy attorneys and staff who need to learn how to accomplish specific tasks “on the fly.”
“We are very excited to have the CLASS and CLASSe materials. All the materials are so complete -- they are a huge time saver for our training department. We are finding that we have all the materials we need at our finger tips, even for those “special” ad hoc topics that come up. We can pull together workshops using the training guide, documents and class notes very quickly. We appreciate the consistent look and feel of all the materials,” explained Paulette Shuckhart, Manager, User Support Services for Sullivan & Worcester. “An unexpected benefit has been to our IT department in general, CLASSe materials are helping us all get to know new or upgraded applications before we roll them out.”
CLASS currently consists of 139 classroom modules covering topics from Microsoft Office applications to document management systems and Word productivity tools. The materials are customizable and designed to be used for university-style training programs. CLASSe Briefs are drawn from CLASS curriculum and offer the same high level of quality and consistency. By purchasing both products, Sullivan & Worcester will be able to provide end-users with a consistent training message through the instructor, reference materials and eLearning lessons.
“We believe in offering end-users a blended learning solution with a selection of places to find the answers they need in a hurry. CLASS modules provide hands-on classroom exercises and quick reference cards while CLASSe Briefs provide the interactivity and self-paced learning that attorneys and staff alike will use again and again.” added Charlene LeMaire, Director of Training and User Support Services for Traveling Coaches. “By purchasing the UniversitySite learning management system along with our CLASS and CLASSe content, Sullivan & Worcester has all of the necessary pieces to launch a successful on-going training program.”
Traveling Coaches is the nationally recognized leader in the legal technology arena providing training, application integration and consulting services to law firms.
