Winstead Implements Traveling Coaches
LEAP Xpress Skills Assessment Solution

Dallas, TX - March 31, 2006:  Traveling Coaches, the nationally recognized training, application integration and consulting partner to law firms and corporate legal departments, today announced that its most recent LEAP Xpress customer, Dallas-based Winstead, Sechrest & Minick, P.C., has successfully implemented the new skills assessment program.  A long-time client of Traveling Coaches and owner of the industry leading CLASS curriculum package and UniversitySite learning management system, Winstead’s implementation of LEAP Xpress is the final piece of a targeted training solution.

Released in February 2006, LEAP Xpress takes advantage of the unique document analysis properties of Microsystems DocXamine, providing law firms with a fast, affordable way to assess the document production skills of their staff. Utilizing industry standard best practices for document production, staff specific core competencies and skills based learning plans, LEAP Xpress is used as a foundation for both firm-wide document audits and individual user skill assessments. LEAP Xpress customers include law firms making a concerted effort to assess users’ skills and effectively target their training programs.

“The suite of training products from Traveling Coaches [LEAP Xpress, CLASS and UniversitySite] has allowed Winstead's trainers to deliver just-in-time training solutions that are specifically targeted to meet the needs of our users.  Winstead's attorneys and staff know their time in the classroom will be well spent because they have the opportunity to enroll in classes specifically tailored to their level of proficiency,”  said Mark Garrett, CIO of Winstead, Sechrest & Minick.

A complete package, LEAP Xpress includes all of the necessary product deliverables and specialized services for assessing an individual or group of users. The LEAP Xpress learning plans can then be tied to Traveling Coaches’ modular CLASS training courseware and tracked using the UniversitySite learning management system.

“The integration between the products allows our trainers to quickly adapt their curriculums to fit any skill level and easily measure the results for each student.  The implementation of this suite of software products has made us far more efficient in our approach to training the Firm's attorneys and staff.  Our partnership with Traveling Coaches made it all work seamlessly,” said Garrett.
