Gardere Purchases Workshare Technology’s Popular Redlining Tool DeltaView Through Channel Sales Partner Traveling Coaches

DALLAS, TEXAS – DECEMBER 15, 2000: Workshare Technology – www.workshare.net – announced today that Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP has recently selected DeltaView as its document comparison solution. The 750-user, Dallas-based firm purchased DeltaView through Workshare Technology’s channel sales partner, Traveling Coaches. The purchase was part of a comprehensive project to convert the firm from WordPerfect to Word. New desktop images were deployed after extensive product evaluation and testing. The images included Word 2000 and DeltaView as well as tools from SoftWise and Levit & James. Traveling Coaches assisted not only with the product evaluation and purchase, but also with training and post-implementation floor support.

Workshare Technology has developed their channel sales program to promote the relationships with its valued partners. This program, under the direction of Channel Sales Manager, Brian Phillips, aims to reach further into the legal technology market as well as corporate, government and education. The channel sales program is designed to not only educate firms on the document comparison software, DeltaView, but to allow them to communicate through an existing trusted source. “Through the valued relationship we have established with Traveling Coaches, we were able to present DeltaView as an extension of Workshare Technology utilizing a line communication that was already in place,” explains Phillips. “Our partners act as a liaison between the firm and channel sales at Workshare Technology. This sales process through the channels sales partner, Traveling Coaches, was key in the decision making process of Gardere,” he continues.

Traveling Coaches, a Dallas based company, has worked with Workshare Technology to build awareness of both DeltaView and the soon to be released DeltaView Premier (DVP) in their region. Founded in 1995 to service legal and corporate markets, Traveling Coaches has been working with Workshare Technology since the inception of the Channel Sales program in the beginning of this year shortly after the DeltaView 2.0 launch. “We have found DeltaView to be the superior redlining tool for our customers as they move to Microsoft Word”, says Joe Buser, Sales Manager for Traveling Coaches. “Many of our customers had problems using CompareRite with Word. They don’t have those problems when they switch to DeltaView.”
