DALLAS, TEXAS - October 15, 2002: Dallas-based Traveling Coaches is the first Hummingbird partner in the United States to offer Implementing Document Management Using Hummingbird DM. This course, also known as Hummingbird Course No. 335v5, is designed for DM administrators, integrators and consultants planning to deploy Hummingbird's latest document management tool, Hummingbird DM.

The five-day course includes generating a DM Library, installing a DM Server, DM Web Server, application integration, client options, and performing Library Maintenance. It also covers customization of the DM Webtop, and use of the client interfaces: DM Webtop and Windows Explorer DM Extensions.

As explained by Linda Miller, Traveling Coaches' Director of Technology Services, "We are very excited to maintain our position on the leading edge of Hummingbird admin training. We feel it is our responsibility to our Hummingbird clients to be prepared to teach the admin skills needed to manage their systems as they upgrade to the newest version of Hummingbird's document management products."

To attain the credentials to offer the Implementing Document Management Using Hummingbird DM course, Traveling Coaches was first required to be a Hummingbird Authorized Training Center (ATC) and then to have an instructor on staff to attend training at a Hummingbird facility and to pass the certification exam. Traveling Coaches has been a Hummingbird ATC since 1998. In addition, Traveling Coaches has succeeded in having three members of its technical staff achieve certification to teach this course which is being offered in its on-site training facility each month.
