Dallas, Texas - September 12, 2003: Traveling Coaches has once again appeared as a featured speaker at the Annual Educational Conference of LawNet, Inc. LawNet, an independent network of IT professionals, is recognized as the premier legal technology user group in the country. Current LawNet membership includes over 820 law firms and legal departments, and represents nearly 430,000 desktops. Each year, the organization’s educational conference is attended by members from around the country and around the world as well as vendors who specialize in providing products and services to the legal technology industry. The 2003 Conference was held in Florida at the Boca Raton Resort & Club from August 18th through the 21st. Traveling Coaches participated in the conference as an exhibitor and speaker for the fourth consecutive year. According to Peggy Wechsler, Program Director of LawNet, “We judge it to have been our most successful annual conference ever – and our best attended!” Traveling Coaches was privileged to have two of its staff speak on relevant, educational subjects. Charlene Traynor, one of the company’s principals, presented, “Implementing and Maintaining a Successful Internal Training [University] Program.” In this presentation, Ms. Traynor explored the process of implementing an internal, modular training program which brings to legal users the highest quality, legal specific training available. More than just a training program, the “university” model includes pre- and post-training tools to enhance its core curriculum. Joe Buser, sales manager for Traveling Coaches, brought the presentation, “Where Did All My Deadlines Go? A Microsoft Project Primer” to the LawNet audience. In this hands-on introduction to Microsoft Project, Mr. Buser demonstrated how to use technology to better plan and track projects. Traveling Coaches also selected this important venue for the unveiling of its new modular training program known as CLASS (Continued Learning and Software Skills). Based on years of experience educating law firms all over the country, CLASS is a legal specific, hands-on training program designed to teach legal users how to get the most out of their desktop applications. Linda Miller, one of Traveling Coaches’ three principals, stated, “We really enjoy working with LawNet. We have developed both professional and personal relationships with this great group of people and look forward to the conference every year. It just keeps getting better and better.” Traveling Coaches is a nationally recognized information technology training, integration and consulting firm specializing in law firms and corporate legal departments.
