Gina Buser Receives NAWBO's 2005 Woman Business Owner of the Year Award

Dallas, Texas - May 9, 2005: Gina Buser, President of Traveling Coaches, Inc., received the 2005 Woman Business Owner of the Year Award from the DFW Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). The award ceremony took place at the chapter’s monthly luncheon in May. Gina was recognized for her many achievements in business, contributions to the community, and dedication to supporting women business owners.

Ms. Buser had the opportunity to share her experience and insight with the NAWBO D/FW audience as she was interviewed by Dawn Brinson, NAWBO D/FW President Elect. When asked about her greatest personal challenge in building Traveling Coaches, Gina responded, “Achieving balance has been my biggest challenge. I wanted to give my family and myself priority so I had to make some difficult decisions involving my calendar. For example, I began working from home two days a week, eliminating work on the weekends, and making time for volunteer opportunities. This effort made me much more focused and productive during my work time and I had more time for my family and other interests.” Gina went on to say that, “The most fulfilling aspect of my business has been building a culture where people are passionate about what they do and enjoy coming to work each day. It has also been very rewarding to prove to myself and others that balance can be achieved without having the business suffer as a result.”

Gina Buser is President and co-owner of Traveling Coaches, a nationally recognized computer training and consulting company located in Dallas, Texas. Primarily serving the legal community, Traveling Coaches also numbers among its clients corporations, non-profit groups, and government agencies. In addition to serving as the NAWBO/DFW Collin County/Denton County Council Chair, Gina is a member of the Women’s Business Council Southwest. She serves on the Board of Directors, the Leadership Team, and various other committees of Springcreek Community Church.
