Traveling Coaches’ industry-leading CLASS (Continued Learning and Software Skills) program is a collection of high quality, modular, and legal specific technology training materials. Since its introduction three years ago, the wildly popular CLASS program has been implemented by over 65 law firms and corporate legal departments consisting of more than 28,000 users.

Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP has been working hard over the past eighteen months to develop a firm-wide university training program for their 900 plus users. Partnering with the Human Resources Department, the Training Team has identified the goals and objectives for Sutherland University, and made a variety of product selections to help facilitate the development and administration of the program.  “Once we determined how many classes we want to offer in our University and the amount of time it would take us to develop the courses internally, we decided to partner with Traveling Coaches for their superior legal-specific and pre-developed CLASS materials,” says Brenda Parker, Training Coordinator for Sutherland Asbill & Brennan.

Ideal for any law firm or corporate legal department, CLASS provides the busy trainer with pre-developed courseware including training guides, hands-on exercises, quick reference cards, skills assessments and other instructional aids. The CLASS library currently boasts 124 individual modules covering topics from Microsoft Office applications to document management systems and Word productivity tools. CLASS modules were conceived and developed as part of a master training program so the materials are consistent in their look and feel.  Delivered in soft copy, firms have the option to customize the materials to include headers, footers, and screen shots that reflect their identity and best practices.  The CLASS site license allows for the reproduction of the materials as often and for as many employees as needed.
