Traveling Coaches is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to work part-time in our Plano office. This person will help support, develop and implement the organization’s fun, engaging marketing plans and strategies. The Marketing Assistant will play an important role in ensuring the company brand is presented consistently, that deadlines are met, that we’re connecting with our various partners and communities, and more.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute the organization’s social media strategy

  • Maintain the event calendar and various databases

  • Create and assist with content and graphics for social media, blogs, videos, articles, presentations and other media

  • Update the company website

  • Develop email campaigns

  • Prepare materials and supplies for sponsored events

  • Create and interpret reports

  • Perform other administrative tasks and office duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field, or commensurate experience in a marketing role

  • Administration or sales and marketing experience

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

  • Organized with a high level of attention to detail

  • Experience using digital marketing systems and tools

  • Ability to multitask and change directions based on immediate needs

  • A desire to take ownership over your work and add value to the business

  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team

  • Experience with Adobe products, including Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
