Traveling Coaches seeks a dynamic, results-driven Project Manager with extensive experience working in the legal industry. The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and potentially third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.

  • Work with internal team members for timely and accurate delivery of eLearning products and services.

  • Facilitate strategic discussions and deliver targeted business objectives of projects.

  • Work with business users and subject matter experts to gather requirements through interviews, focus groups, and other information-gathering methods.

  • Develop detailed business user requirements, system documentation and workflow procedures.

  • Possess strong understanding in the areas of Microsoft Office and document management systems as they relate to the legal industry.

  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

  • Identify and secure appropriate project resources.

  • Work with all project stakeholders, process owners, application and data architects, testers, developers, etc., in support of the project deliverables.

  • Define, develop and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, end user test plans, and other QA assessments.

  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, document meeting minutes and follow-up on all action items as required.

  • Facilitate and obtain timely review and signoff on all deliverables.

  • Facilitate project transitions and lessons learned discussions.

  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application to client engagements.

  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in Project Management or IT Management or eLearning Development

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred.

  • Law firm experience preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.

  • Demonstrated self-starter, highly motivated, with a successful track record of being able to work without direct supervision.

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Track record of effectively managing conflict, resolving issues, mitigating risks and influencing senior leaders.

  • Travel up to 25% of each month
